Shipping Costs

  1. Enjoy free worldwide shipping on orders over 400€.

  2. For your purchase with a total value of less than 400€ the shipping costs worldwide are: 35€

  3. Our free shipping services do not support the transportation of oversized items. For pricing information on this service, please refer to the "Delivery of large goods" section on this site.

  4. If you're worried about the safety of your cherished item during transit, fret not! We're proud to report a shipping damage or loss rate of less than 1%. Furthermore, each of our packages is insured for the full value of your purchase.


Order Online

  1. To place an order, add an item to your cart and proceed to checkout. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

  2. Please note that once an order has been placed, we are unable to make changes to the order details or delivery address. Kindly ensure all details are correct prior to completing your purchase.

  4. CART: Products on www.bottegajacobs.com are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Your selected item is not reserved until you begin the checkout process. Once initiated, the item will be reserved for 5 minutes to allow you to finalize your purchase.

  5. SOLD OUT: We specialize in selling unique vintage items, each with its own charm and history. Sometimes, we're able to restock certain items. For more details on restocking options, please feel free to reach out to us via email.

 

Order Processing

  1. Orders are typically processed on weekdays, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., usually within 72 hours upon order placement. If an order is placed over the weekend, it will be processed the next Monday.

  2. Dispatch of orders takes place once payment authenticity is verified.

  3. Please anticipate possible delays during peak seasons or holidays. Bottega Jacobs retains the discretion to decline order processing and/or service provision at any time.

 

Delivery & Tracking

  1. Once your order is sent, you'll get an email with your tracking ID and details about the courier delivering your purchase to your doorstep.

  2. To track your package, use your tracking number within 24 hours of receiving the email. Visit websites like parcelsapp.com or the official sites of shipping providers for easy tracking.

  3. Typically, packages arrive within 7 to 14 days from the date of order confirmation.

  4. Customers must be vigilant in inspecting the package upon delivery before signing, as ownership transfers at that moment. If there is any indication of tampering, it is advisable to accept the package under reserve and then promptly notify our customer service team.

  5. Should a customer refuse the package, return shipping costs and custom fees will be subtracted from any refund owed.

  6. In the event of non-delivery due to an incorrect address or failure to collect from customs, the item will only be reshipped against payment of the actual shipping costs & return shipping costs by the buyer. Please ensure that the address provided is accurate to prevent any delays in receiving your order.

  7. Bottega Jacobs will not be held responsible for package loss if the customer directs the courier to leave it without a personal signature.

 

Delivery of Large Goods

  1. The costs for larger sized Items can be directly inquired about on our product page. Please have no hesitation to reach out with any questions about pricing for larger Items.

  2. For large items that cannot be placed in a standard box or shipped by regular carriers, we collaborate with specialized furniture delivery services worldwide. Based on the carrier selected and the nature of the oversized items, Bottega Jacobs will inform you of the anticipated delivery date.

  3. The delivery is conducted on the sidewalk at the base of your residence. It is vital for you to verify if your elevator or staircase dimensions permit the furniture to be moved inside. Occasionally, your item might arrive disassembled to aid in transit, yet this occurrence is infrequent. The delivery personnel are unable to assist with reassembling the furniture; nonetheless, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you require any information.

 

Missed Deliveries

  1. For missed deliveries, carriers leave notices for rescheduling. Contact them directly for a new delivery date or change in location. If your delivery date has passed, please reach out to the carrier to expedite delivery.

  2. For missed postal deliveries, you'll receive instructions for pickup or redelivery. Usually, you can collect your order from the nearest post office or schedule a new delivery.

  3. Please keep track of your order using websites like parcelsapp.com or the official shipping providers' sites. If your package hasn't arrived after 20 days, please contact us at hello@bottegajacobs.com. We're here to assist you!

 

Duties & Taxes

  1. For shipments outside of Europe, import taxes and duty fees may apply. Please note that international delivery costs do not cover these charges, and any taxes or duties imposed by customs in the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.

  2. ‘Bottega Jacobs’ cannot control or be held accountable for these fees or taxes, nor can we be responsible for any actions taken by customs during delivery.

  3. As required by Italian export regulations, ‘Bottega Jacobs’ must declare the accurate value of all items. For further information on taxes, duties, and customs regulations, please consult your local customs office.

  4. If the recipient refuses to pay taxes and duties or rejects the delivery for any other reason, the item(s) will be returned to our warehouse in Italy. A refund will be issued only after the item is returned, minus the return shipping fee, original shipping fee, and a 50€ handling and restocking fee.

  5. Please be aware that duty and sales taxes are non-refundable through ‘Bottega Jacobs’. You may, however, be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.
